Χρήσεις: Είναι ειδικό ίαμα για τον ερεθιστικό βήχα, ιδιαίτερα στα παιδιά, για έντονη καταρροή, σε βρογχίτιδα ή εμφύσημα, σε άσθμα ή βρογχικό άσθμα
Πως χρησιμοποιείται:
η ρίζα ως έγχυμα: ρίχνουμε 1/2 κουτ. γλυκού τεμαχισμένη ρίζα σε ένα φλιτζάνι κρύο νερό. Το αφήνουμε για 8-10 ώρες. Μετά ζεσταίνουμε και το πίνουμε πολύ ζεστό 2-3 φορές την ημέρα.
Βάμμα: 1-2 ml βάμματος τρεις φορές την ημέρα
Ιδιαίτερες προφυλάξεις:
Η ινουλίνη που περιέχεται στην ρίζα του βοτάνου είναι ευρέως διαδεμομένη σε φρούτα, λαχανικά και φυτά. Χαρακτηρίζεται ως τρόφιμο και θεωρείται ασφαλές προς βρώση.
Να μην χρησιμοποιείται από άτομα με ευαισθησία στην ινουλίνη.
Να αποφεύγεται σε περιπτώσεις εγγυμοσύνης ή σακχαρώδη διαβήτη
