Χρήσεις: συστήνεται όταν κόβεται η όρεξη (ανορεξία), βοηθάει στην εξομάλυνση της έμμηνης ροής, για σκχαρώδη διαβήτη, παχυσαρκία, τονώνει τον οργανισμό σε πυρετούς ή λοιμώξεις, για καούρες, σύνδρομο ευερέθιστου εντέρου, για τον μύκητα Κάντιντα. Σε κάποιες μελέτες έχει δείξει αντικαρκινική δράση ιδιαίτερα στον καρκίνο του μαστού. Χρησιμοποιείται παραδοσιακά για την θεραπεία εντερικών παρασίτων, σκωλήκων (όπως η ελονοσία)
Πως χρησιμοποιείται:
ως έγχυμα: μισό με ένα κουταλάκι του γλυκού σε 1 φλιτζάνι νερό για περίπου 10′. Πίνουμε 2-3 φορές την ημέρα
Για την πικράδα του καλύτερα να μην χρησιμοποιήσετε ζάχαρη, αλλά βότανα όπως η Μέντα και ο Γλυκάνισος
Ιδιαίτερες προφυλάξεις:
Αποφεύγεται σε εγκυμοσύνη ή θηλασμό.Η χρήση του βοτάνου σε μεγαλύτερες δοσολογίες ή για περισσότερο από 4 εβδομάδες μπορεί να προκαλέσει αυπνία, ιλίγγους, σπασμούς, αυπνία, ανησυχία.
