Χρήσεις:
σε φλεγμονή και συμφόρηση του ήπατος και της χοληδόχου κύστης, χοληστερίνη, για μυϊκούς ρευματισμούς, για το συμφορητικό ίκτερο, για αποτοξίνωση (η ρίζα θεωρείται ότι έχει πιο έντονες ιδιότητες), δυσκοιλιότητα
Πως χρησιμοποιείται:
Τα φύλλα ως έγχυμα: 1-1,5 κουταλάκι του γλυκού σε 1 φλιτζάνι νερό για 7-10′. Πίνουμε 2-3 φορές την ημέρα
Η ρίζα ως αφέψημα: σιγοβράζουμε για 10-15′ ένα κουταλάκι του γλυκού.
Βάμμα: 5-10 ml βάμμα ταραξάκου τρεις φορές την ημέρα.
Ιδιαίτερες προφυλάξεις:
Να μην γίνεται χρήση Ταραξάκου από άτομα που πάσχουν από χολολιθίαση χωρίς την επίβλεψη ειδικού.
Σε περιπτώσεις στομαχικού έλκους ή γαστρίτιδας το ταραξάκο θα πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείται με προσοχή καθώς μπορεί να αυξήσει την παραγωή γαστρικών οξέων.
Το Ταραξάκο περιέχει ινουλίνη.
